The first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 12. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school and having an awesome school year.

North Belmont Elementary is continuing its commitment to excellence in academics! We rank among the top 10 schools in Gaston County for having the highest student proficiency. We also met our academic growth expectations for 2024-2025. We are very proud of our students, teachers, and staff members for their hard work!

Thanks to our partnership with Kintegra Health, we offer a telehealth clinic here at our school. Students, who are experiencing a minor illness or condition, can be seen by a medical provider virtually.

Board of Education Meeting Canceled

The Gaston County Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday, July 20 has been canceled. The Board’s next regular meeting will be held on August 17 with committee meetings scheduled for August 3.

Open House

North Belmont Elementary will host an Open House for all grades on Monday, August 10 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Families are invited to drop in during this time to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and get ready for an exciting new school year.

Clubs and Activities

Our students participate in a variety of academic and leadership clubs, including Battle of the Books, Math Masters, robotics, literary events and the Singing Eagles program.
